1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms govern your use of euaiactaudit.com (euaiactaudit.com) (the "Service"), provided by Human Synthesis SRL, Sat Buciumeni, Comuna Buciumeni, Nr. 279, Județul Dâmbovița, 137065, Romania, Trade Register J15/860/12.06.2024, VAT RO50224420, email contact@euaiactaudit.com ("we", "us"). By using the Service you accept these terms. If you use the Service for a business, you accept them for that business and confirm you may bind it. The Service is for businesses and professionals only, not for consumers.
2. The Service
The Service is a free, dated reference on the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 as amended by Regulation (EU) 2026/1744) in English, German and Romanian: pages on duties, dates, roles and fines, each naming the official sources it was checked against and the check date, templates, and a contact form. There are no accounts, no purchases and no paid content. Links lead to our sister service aiactaudit.ai, which has its own terms.
The pages of the Service are generated with artificial intelligence and labelled as AI-generated. AI output can be incomplete or wrong; check important results against the official sources before relying on them (see our AI notice: https://euaiactaudit.com/en/ai-notice).
The Service gives general information; it is not legal advice and does not replace a qualified lawyer. It is not a certification, a conformity assessment or an authorised assessment, and we are not a notified body. No lawyer reviews individual cases and we do not answer individual legal questions. For advice on your situation, consult a qualified lawyer.
3. Who may use the Service
- You must be at least 18 and use the Service for a business or a profession.
- The Service has no accounts and no purchases.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service: no illegal content or activity, no infringing others' rights, no malware, no attempts to break security or access our systems, no scraping or automated access beyond what we allow, no reselling without our permission, no use to train competing AI models, no overloading our systems. Automated access we allow is set out in https://euaiactaudit.com/robots.txt and in our llms.txt files.
5. No user content
The Service does not publish content from users. Messages you send through the contact form reach only us and are never published.
6. Our intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, brands and content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms. Feedback you send us may be used freely to improve the Service.
7. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep the Service available and secure but do not promise uninterrupted service; we may carry out maintenance, preferably announced. We may change or update the Service for valid reasons (security, legal changes, improvements, new technology).
8. Liability
- We are fully liable for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for intent and gross negligence, and for any liability that cannot be limited by law (including mandatory consumer rights).
- Otherwise, our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or EUR 100 if you paid nothing.
- For business customers, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, except where the law does not allow this exclusion.
- For consumers, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made.
9. Suspension and termination
- You can stop using the Service at any time.
- We may suspend or end your access, with notice and reasons unless the law or urgency prevents it, if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or if the law requires it. You can complain about our decision at contact@euaiactaudit.com.
- We may end the Service as a whole with at least 60 days' notice.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for valid reasons (new features, legal or regulatory changes, security). We tell you at least 30 days before material changes take effect, on this site. If you do not agree you can stop using the Service before they apply; continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept them. Changes required by law may apply sooner.
11. Complaints and disputes
Contact us first at contact@euaiactaudit.com; we answer within 14 days.
Consumers in the EU may also contact the European Consumer Centre of their country.
12. Governing law and courts
- These terms are governed by Romanian law.
- Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where they live and may bring proceedings in their own courts.
- Business customers agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts for our registered office in Romania.
13. Other terms
If a term is found invalid, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer them to a company that takes over the Service, without reducing your rights. These terms and the privacy policy https://euaiactaudit.com/en/privacy are the whole agreement. The terms are available in English, German and Romanian; in case of conflict, the English version prevails for businesses, and for consumers the version in your language prevails.
